| Glad there's no sign of Kabane this episode which is nice. So happy for these people to have their peace time and celebrating with fireworks during their Tanabata. I'm pretty sure Kurusu's wish is to marry Ayame. Hihihihi. I freaking ship it. He's blushing, so it's a sign. Hahahaha. Omfg. Holy shit. Survey Corps is here. Hahahaha jk. I mean The Hunters. Apparently, they're the equivalent of Survey Corps and one of its members is Mumei's brother and his name is Biba. So, he's the Levi in this show then? Pfffft. No, please. Lmao. | I just found out Mumei is 12 year old which surprised me a lot. She seems far too developed for a 12 year old. It's always difficult to tell the age of characters in anime. Man, even if Ikoma sees Mumei like his little sister, he's still being way too bold with his promise to a 12 year old girl that isn't his real sister. That's definitely a speech that would make a girl fall for you. |

| The only reason Takumi is brave enough to knock that Bushi is becasue Ikoma was there, and he know that he's a Kabaneri now. Well all the ship is hinted in this episode, but will have to expect some of them sink. This is a 'calm before the storm' type of episode. |

| After all the action Ikome, Mumei and Co had it must have felt like a dream being able to "relax" a little bit. But they definitely also needed a lot of new supplies and materials for the upcoming trip. It's crazy to think about how young Mumei is. A girl like normally shouldn't fight at all. I know she was only telling the truth and how she feels but maybe waking up as a Kabane and thinking about it even more must be so cruel. Ikomes promise to exterminate all the Kabane and bringing back the rice fields is bold but having hope is very important. Like Ikoma I also want to know what kind of a guy Mumeis brother really is. At a first glance he seems like a someone you can relie on but who knows what's behind the facet. I don't have a good feeling. Most of the time after such an episode something real bad happens. So I hope I'm wrong. |

| Kind of a breather episode. I mean they needed one too honestly, like fighting off against those Kabane non-stop must've taken a toll on these people. Also hey this way for once we can avoid some random annoying goons sharing their ideas about how to treat Kabaneri(s). I'm pretty sure that blue robe had written something along the lines of, "God may never separate me and Ayame-sama, ever....", that's why he was embarrassed. Anyways that new guy seems suspicious from the get go. |

| I'm loving the genuine sibling relationship budding between Ikoma and Mumei. Her current "brother" is pretty bad at being one, considering what he's taught her, telling her she'll be thrown away if she's weak. |
| Ikoma wants a world free for kabane to make everyone live a peaceful life. Including the kabaneri. Ayy, that newly introduced group of highly elite warriors had a badass entry. Their train looks sick. :o |
| Even in just this episode in isolation, there's enough characterisation to make me care about everyone on the Iron Fortress, with all the engaging dynamics and observations floating around. The signature tanabata scene where people gained the confidence to aspire for more in such a bleak world was inspirational. Ikoma doesn't seem to like the new hunter squad much, or Biba, for that matter. It'd be a real shame if people were finding ways to conflict with each other for their own agendas and power plays when you still have zombies tearing shit up. |

How is this station even still standing, they didn't even check the train for infected, otherwise they would have detected Mumei and Ikoma easily. Also it looks like some firearm safety hijinks, "fire away" while the guy is standing right beside the target. |
