The backwards forwards vocals you talk about are actually two members singing. Of course the main vocal is James Hetfield, the second vocal is bassist Robert Trujillo, you can actually see this in the video at 5:49
This is turning out to be my favorite Metallica song ever.

Trujillo is a legend.....check out some Infectious Grooves or Suicidal Tendencies.....he played in those bands also...
I feel like maybe this is the first time they've done this song live. Listen to the studio version and it is just 7 minutes of thrash so for them to keep up that pace live is amazing.
It was indeed and better still... this was the first song of the encore! So getting on for two hours of concert *before* they tried this for the first time. Was lucky enough to be there and it was both a wonderful surprise and fantastic to hear live.

Its just a suggestion and I dont have the money to buy a song so if someone where to see this comment they might choose this song. I was just saying how it was an epic song especially live. @@TheEdorizo I mean it’s not as epic as some of their other performances, but when I saw it live I thought it was really cool watching them all play the beat of the song on a square drum while Lars played the drums. It’s was different.

Thats not true, unless the second time was in Finland. Actually I did some research and they played it throughout their 2019 tour. So Im pretty confident to say that they have played it more than twice 😅

Hardwired was an ok album. I personally like death magnetic better. This is definitely the best song on the album. Hardwired is kind of like a compilation album to me. It's like they took the sound/writing style of each album and sprinkled it throughout. Which is kind of good and bad. Lol. U definitely hear some load era style on the album. Am I savage being the main culprit. That's like a lost song off load. I can't get into it.

Awesome song. But Lars didn’t play as he did on the album. It seems as if he can’t play as he did when young. Where was the double bass, for example !!! 🥵 and some of the rolls he didn’t do them as he did in the album version ( he simplified very much his drumming - boring ) To me, only the drumming sucked
